NBA star Tony Parker is suing the owners of a New York nightclub after suffering an eye injury in a bottle-throwing brawl between friends of R&B singer Chris Brown and rapper Drake, the New York Post reported Friday. Parker, who plays for the San Antonio Spurs, is demanding $20 million from the owners of the W.i.P. (Work in Progress) club in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan following the fight in the early hours of June 14, the newspaper said....

That injury blight has settled over Colorado the past few weeks, and it’s derailed very promising seasons. Vaccine hesitancy has led to only about 27 percent of Bosnia’s population of 3.3 million receiving the shot. But among the approximately 2,000 inmates across the country’s 13 prisons, more than 80 percent are vaccinated. At Bosnia’s largest prison, located in Zenica, over 90 percent of the 600 inmates are vaccinated. Redžo Kahrić, the maximum-security prison’s warden, said he believes the vaccination rates are so high out of convenience. Though vaccinations are not mandatory, inmates are required to quarantine if they come into contact with someone who tested positive for the virus, whereas people outside of prisons are free to ignore the rules....

The prestigious event scheduled to begin on 6 October 2018 in Johor Bahru will see ten Indian players play their first International tournament. The Indian Junior Men’s Team had ended their previous campaign in 2017 with a Bronze Medal. Two of the star players from that tournament midfielder Vivek Sagar Prasad and forward Dilpreet Singh were soon elevated to the Senior Core group after their inspiring performance at the 2017 edition of Sultan of Johor Cup that saw India beat Malaysia in the Bronze Medal match....

Jolly Shaju, previously known as Jolly Thomas, was motivated by control and money, according to a police press conference held on Monday in her home district of Kozhikode in Kerala, southern India. Among Shaju’s victims are in-laws, a former husband and, most disturbingly, a two-year-old child. “We arrested Jolly Thomas, her friend M Mathew who arranged potassium cyanide, and a jewelry worker Praju Kumar who supplied the poisonous substance,” Kozhikkode Rural Police Chief KG Simon said, reported The Hindustan Times....

The technical aspect of movie making has changed a lot since 1981’s Raiders of the Lost Ark. Back then Indiana Jones had to rely much more in practical stunt work, just like in that iconic truck chase scene. Crystal Skull, on the contrary, relied much more on CGI and dazzling set pieces, to the detriment of the franchise. Fans never watched Indiana Jones for the CGI, after all. And the best way to deliver the kind of movie that reminds people of what made the first one so groundbreaking, is to go back to the basics....
Father Patrick Baikauskas is director of Campus Ministry at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. To better reach the faithful, he’s launched what he calls a “confession to-go cart.” Confession is a sacrament allowing Catholics to admit to their sins and receive absolution. “If this is a really important sacrament let’s show it,” Baikauskas told WLFI News 18. “Let’s get out where the people are, where the students are [and] take this golf cart out and do confessions on the go....
Security camera footage that was circulated over the weekend shows a group of men attacking two men outside a house on Friday night, according to the university news website Indiana Daily Student. Members of Alpha Epsilon Pi, which is a traditionally Jewish fraternity, were involved in the fight, its fraternity spokesman Jonathan Pierce said, according to the publication which reported that Jewish students were allegedly beaten by the men as they tried to enter a party at the Pi Kappa Phi house....
