The Indians suffered a 9-8 loss to the Tigers as Miller struggled to contain Detroit on Tuesday. Miller entered in the seventh inning after fellow reliever Dan Otero allowed two runs to score. Cleveland were still ahead by two runs but the lead quickly vanished as Miller retired only one of the six batters he faced. Detroit’s JaCoby Jones and Pete Kozma rattled Miller with back-to-back RBI doubles and the Tigers loaded the bases after in the Indians pitcher walked three consecutive hitters....

They shared that Tamarack had escaped his enclosure, and managed to “tunnel under an electric fence.” Though the cub is not in immediate danger, those with the center hope to find him quickly. “We are asking anyone in the South Shore Lake Tahoe Area—in particular the areas of Black Bart, Heavenly Valley and Sierra Tract— to be on the lookout,” the center said in its post....
