The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that there are 3,960 fatal unintentional drownings in the United States every year, averaging approximately 11 deaths to due drowning every day. The CDC also reports that for children between 1 and 4 years of age, drowning is the second leading cause of death, trailing only birth defects. On Tuesday night, around 10:30 p.m., Harris County Sheriff’s deputies were called to an apartment complex, according to local station KTRK-TV....

Diaz Love, 32, was struck by the vehicle that drove through a panicked crowd of protesters on Interstate 5 early on Saturday morning. Love, of Portland, Oregon, is in a serious condition in the intensive care unit at Harborview Medical Center, spokesperson Susan Gregg said, according to the Associated Press. Summer Taylor, another protester who was also struck by the vehicle, died in the hospital on Saturday evening. Just hours before the incident, Love had taken to Facebook and revealed in a post on Friday that she was “scared af” of going out to protest because of “death threats from various hate groups....

According to screenshots of emails posted by multiple YouTube bloggers, a PR agency called Fazze claimed to be an “influencer marketing platform” based out of London. The agency contacted French health and science YouTubers last week and asked them to “explain … the death rate among the vaccinated with Pfizer is almost 3x higher than the vaccinated by AstraZeneca,” The Guardian reported. In exchange for money, the influencers were asked to publish links on YouTube, Instagram or TikTok to reports in Le Monde, on Reddit and on the Ethical Hacker website about a supposed leaked report containing data that substantiates the false claim....
