Saurabh Sangvekar, participating in the men’s 400m freestyle, failed to qualify for the final, finishing at the 60th position in 4 minutes and 2.57 seconds in the heats of the event.
Sandeep Sejwal, competing in the men’s 100m breaststroke, failed to make it to the semi-finals, as he finished the heats in 36th position in 1 min 2.17 seconds.
The Indian team also disappointed in the men’s 4x100m freestyle as they were unable to make it to the final.
